Scott Holden
Founder / Principal
Scott has 25+ years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense market with Price-to-Win and Cost Strategy lead roles on $25B+ in successful competitive wins.

Throughout his 25-year career at Northrop Grumman Scott held Program Director, Strategic Planning, Business Development, Business Management and Cost Engineering roles and responsibilities.
​
In addition to consulting, Scott is the lead trainer for Shipley Associates in the areas of Price-to-Win and Cost Strategy.
​
​Scott is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
​
In Scott's free time he enjoys snow skiing, camping, and boating with his wife and three children.
Mac Metcalf
Manufacturing / Process SME
Mac has 40 years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense market focused on Program Management, Quality, Mission Assurance, Supplier Management, and Process Improvement on some our industries most prominent programs.

Throughout his career Mac has worked for Boeing and Northrop Grumman while partnering with an extensive range of industry heavyweights.

​In addition to his Aeronautics degree, Mac is a FAA Licensed Aircraft Mechanic (A&P), AS9100/AS9110 Lead Auditor, Theory-of-Constraints “Jonah”, Lean/Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Trainer.
​
Mac is an avid year-round outdoor recreation enthusiast and is an active snow boarder, surfer, and SCUBA diver. He is a private pilot and enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. Mac is also a proficient guitarist, singer-songwriter, with over 50 original compositions.

Jim VanKovics

Jim has 40 years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense market with Price-to-Win and Cost Strategy lead roles on $70B+ in successful competitive wins.

Throughout his career Jim has worked for Northrop Grumman, CSC, and most recently for the past 8 years as an Independent Competitive Strategy Consultant. Jim has held senior roles in Business Development, Program Management, and Business Management.

Jim is Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Competitive Intelligence Professional Master of CI (CIP-II).

Jim is a year-round golfer (if it's warm and sunny Jim is there). In addition to providing PTW Peer Review Jim volunteers as a business mentor to individuals trying to start or grow a small business as part of the Score Mentor non-profit organization.
